About the DARE Resource Guide

This comprehensive guide supports policymakers, advocates, and professionals dedicated to improving the accessibility of digital content, services, products, and environments for persons with disabilities. It is grounded in the principles of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD)—a binding international treaty adopted by the United Nations in 2006 and ratified by 182 countries as of 2025.

It offers practical strategies, a searchable electronic index for swift navigation of best practices, insightful video interviews, and interactive quizzes to foster inclusive digital transformation.

Developed and Curated by the Global Initiative for Inclusive ICTs (G3ict)

G3ict is a non-profit, multi-stakeholder civil society organization founded in 2006 in cooperation with the United Nations. With official consultative status at the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), G3ict champions digital accessibility and the rights of persons with disabilities through advocacy and advisory services. Its professional division, the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP), advances the field with training, certification, and networking opportunities.
