European Accessibility Act (EAA) Overview

European Accessibility Act (EAA) Informational Video Series

The EAA Video Series, funded by IAAP, a division of G3ict, is a comprehensive resource for our European members and certification holders. The videos explain how the EAA works, its scope, enforcement, penalties, as well as a detailed walk-through of the requirements for each group of products and services in the scope of the act.

Join Susanna Laurin, IAAP EU Program lead, as she reviews the accessibility requirements of the EAA, including policy, legislation, standards, grace periods, and how the EAA impacts the Procurement Directive. She will also discuss the differences between the Web Accessibility Directive and the EAA. Susanna will also provide an overview of how the EAA is enforced, as well as other related topics covered under the EAA.

The series includes access to 25 informational videos. The videos are designed to convey key points about the EAA in plain language.

As a supplement to the series, IAAP has launched the EAA – Question & Answer LinkedIn page, a valuable resource for getting questions answered. With a new post every Tuesday and a follow-up response to a selected question on Thursday, it's a great way to stay informed and engaged.

IAAP Members Benefit

In addition, IAAP Members not only receive access to 25 information videos but also a monthly question-and-answer drop-in session.
